Arctic Monkeys On Tour In UK!

Arctic Monkeys have been confirmed as headliners for the Benicassim Festival 2011 along the side The Strokes, Arcade Fire and Primal Scream. They have also been confirmed for Oxegen 2011, Super Bock Super Rock 2011, V Festival 2011 and Rock Werchter. They confirmed on 7 February that they are playing the Don Valley Bowl in Sheffield on 10 and 11 June, support includes Miles Kane, Anna Calvi, The Vaccines, Dead Sons and Mabel Love. They will also be playing at Lollapalooza 5–7 August 2011. On 21 August, they will be playing at Lowlands, the Netherlands.

On 31 March 2011, the band announced via their website the release of their fourth album's first single, titled "Don't Sit Down 'Cause I've Moved Your Chair". The single released as a digital download on 11th of April, and on Vinyl with "Brick by Brick" on 16 April for Record Store Day. A version of the single with 2 B-sides was released on 7 and 10 inch vinyl on 30 May. The band allowed fans to listen to the entire album on their website before deciding about whether to purchase it or not. On 4 July 2011, the band announced via their website that the second single to be taken from ‘Suck it and See’ would be ‘The Hellcat Spangled Shalalala’ and that it would be released 15 August 2011.

George Michael On UK’s Tour – Tickets Available Now

George Michael attended a press conference at the Royal Opera House in London 11th of May 2011 where he announced he was returning to the stage in the company of a full orchestra for a 47-date tour of Europe this year. He announced the tour and said he felt "re-energised after my recent troubles". "I've always wanted to sing with this kind of backing so I could really, really use my voice and not just concentrate on keeping thousands and thousands of people really excited for two and a half hours," he also said. "I've probably got one more of those tours in me but right now I'd like to have something slightly different." George Michael said the tour would feature reinterpreted songs that are personal favourites of his. 'Symphonica: The Orchestral Tour' will begin in the Czech Republic on August 22 and end in England on December 12. The show has one more date at the Paris Opera on April 29 next year, which George Michael said would probably kick off a second leg touring other parts of the world. In the gaps between the tours, George Michael said he would work on his new dance-themed album, gathering together a collective of gay artists. Symphonica will see George Michael hit over 15 countries across Europe from August through December 2011.
